Intersecting Parallels

Where you stand and what you see. Set vanishing points, and every line you draw runs to one of them — so when you move a point, the drawing follows.

Three things to try

  • Draw — drag on the canvas. The line takes the nearest guide: a vanishing point, vertical, horizontal, or 45° if you turn it on. Swing toward another guide mid-stroke and it changes its mind.
  • Box — two steps, and the second one comes to you. The first drag sets the height and the depth toward whichever point you drag toward; then the other depth is immediately live, so just drag again anywhere. Every corner stays draggable afterwards.
  • Place — drag a vanishing point and watch everything bound to it move. That is the whole idea of the app in one gesture.

Everything stays on your device. No account, no network — it works with the aeroplane mode on. Every corner can be dragged, nudged with the arrow keys once selected, or typed exactly in the Points panel. Drawing a line or a box still needs a drag — that one is on the list.

Draw lines that are bound to vanishing points. Move a point and every line bound to it re-solves, so the drawing stays a coherent construction instead of a set of strokes. Export the outline and finish it wherever you like.

What it is

  • Free, and yours to keep — no account, no sign-up.
  • Everything is stored on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no analytics.
  • Works offline once loaded; add it to your home screen to launch it like an app.
  • It is not a paint app: no brushes, no pressure, no colour. It builds the geometry.

Keyboard

  • Arrow keys nudge a focused vanishing point; Shift makes larger steps.
  • Every point has exact x and y boxes in the Vanishing points panel.
  • Undo and redo are in the toolbar, one step per gesture.

Accessibility

Everything on the canvas is reachable from the panel, because a canvas cannot be tabbed into. If something here is hard to use, that is a bug worth reporting.
